BRA ART is a new event exclusive to Denver. Forty artists have decorated bras which will be auctioned off to raise funds for breast cancer and will be donated to the Denver Metropolitan Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Another new client is Santa's Yule Log, a new book by James Osborn about the life and times of Terry Schmidt, a real Colorado cowboy who holds the "Office" of Santa Claus. The book chronicles Terry's life as Santa and the many people's lives he touched. Our good friend, Greg Akiyama is the Creative Art Director who designed the book. The InterPro Group is promoting. The Cash for Clunkers program -- The Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS) -- has been a popular and highly publicized initiative nationally. The InterPro Group assisted the Colorado Automobile Dealers Association with news briefs and updates for media, keeping media outlets abreast of latest developments. According to the Denver Business Journal, Coloradans turned in 8,900 "clunkers" resulting in $37.6 million in rebates. Colorado ranked 25th out of 50 states.
The Denver Luxury Home Tour closed July 5 to rave reviews from participating builders and visitors. More than 100,000 visits were logged from people touring the 27 multi-million dollar homes located across the Front Range. The Tour was produced by the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver.
Media Training. We recently completed a half-day session with 18 outstanding young representatives of Up With People. It was an international event as multiple countries were represented. The training helped these leaders speak more effectively with news media and included how to create, articulate and deliver key messages. It also included TV interview simulations with video feedback. The InterPro Group teamed with Don Brookins of Mountain Streaming Video Services.
